Chance was co-founder and product manager at welomo.com (2012-2014), the 1st connected hardware on WeChat offering millions of users instant photo printing fun. He has been active member of Guangzhou startup communities, such as Startup Grind Guangzhou since 2012 and Hardware Massive Guangzhou since early 2018.

Chance’s work focuses on following themes,

* Design and develop IoT user experience, and making it part of a service

* Advocate humane and socially responsible design in technologies

* Consulting on above themes for clients

Chance’s early career was heavily defined by South China University of Technology (SCUT). He was assistant to the SCUT president office on international programs, research assistant to the School of Computer Science & Engineering on research projects, founding team member of SCUT School of Software Engineering, and he was founding member (Interim Chair) of IEEE System, Man and Cybernetics Guangzhou Chapter (2004-2007).
